For normal/combination, clog-prone, and oily skin, Lait Clarifiante is a gentle, but thorough cleansing milk for removing makeup , dirt, pollutants, and excess oils from the skin. Lait Clarifiante may be either applied directly to the skin or applied with sponges, skin shammy, or cotton pads. After cleansing, remove with a sponge or shammy then rinse with room temperature water.
Tonique Clarifiante should be applied after cleansing
with Lait Clarifiante.

Use In The Treatment Room
Lait Clarifiante may be used in the treatment room for initial cleansing at the beginning of treatment. Apply directly to the face and gently massage for a very brief period. Remove with wet sponges or cotton pads. Lait Clarifiante can also be used as a buffer with a brushing machine. Apply Lait Clarifiante in a uniform manner over the area to be brushed. Proceed with brushing treatment in usual manner. Remove excess with sponges or soft cloth.

Soothing Cleanser

For all dehydrated skin types, especially redness-prone, sensitive dehydrated skin, Soothing Cleanser is a specially-designed cleanser for dry, dehydrated or sensitive skin. It can be used as a general cleanser or a makeup remover.

Use in the Treatment Room
Soothing Cleanser should be used for preliminary cleansing at the beginning of treatment for any sensitive or dehydrated skin. Apply with gloved fingertips or with cool wet cotton pads.

Tonique Clarifiante Skin Balancing Formula

For normal/combination, clog-prone, and oily skin, Tonique Clarifiante is an alcohol-free pH balancing toner for oily and combination skin. It serves three purposes: 1) Balancing the pH of the skin mantle after cleansing. 2) Removal of excess cleanser of debris missed during the initial cleansing, and 3) Temporary refining of the pore size, and general toning.

Use In The Treatment Room
Use Tonique Clarifiante in the treatment room after any application of cleanser, except when using Desin-Gel, when it should be used after extraction is completed. It may also be used in a cold sprayer and sprayed on to the face after extraction or for mask removal, and as the final rinse at the end of a treatment. For use after cleansing, apply a generous amount of Tonique to a damp facial sponge or soft cloth and apply to the face in a uniform manner.

Soothing Toner

For All Dehydrated Skin Types, especially sensitive dehydrated skin, Soothing Toner provides a delicate mist of soothing extracts including green tea, hamamelis virginiana (non-alcoholic witch hazel), gingko biloba, coneflower and aloe. Specially-designed for dry, dehydrated or sensitive skin, Soothing Toner is very hydrating and helps to balance the pH of delicate skin after cleansing. Also excellent for men as an after shave!

Dermaclarifiante Betahydroxy Treatment

For clog-prone or acne-prone skin, Dermaclarifiante combines the action of a mild betahydroxy acid keratolytic (peeling) agent , with hydrators and a lightweight silicone shield to prevent dehydration. It gently rids the skin of cell buildup which can clog pores and milia, helping to loosen and reduce clogged pores. Its hydrating ingredients provide water and moisture. Dermaclarifiante has been documented non-comedogenic, and is ideal as an oily skin hydrator or night treatment, and for clients with milia.

Stratagard-SPF 15 Daily Hydrating Sunscreen

It is both a lightweight hydrating moisturizer and a broad spectrum SPF-15 sunscreen and can be used for many skin types. It is well-liked for its incredibly lightweight texture, and wearability under makeup! It is non-comedogenic and fragrance-free.

As the final step in a facial treatment or alphahydroxy acid treatment. Apply a small amount and gently massage into skin.

Hydrafluide Hydrating Fluid

Our most popular hydrating fluid, Hydrafluide is designed to boost the water content of any skin type, yet without clogging fatty emollients and oils. Fragrance-free and laboratory tested non-comedogenic and non-irritating to follicles. Ideal for clog-prone dehydrated skin, Hydrafluide can be used as a night hydrator alone, or over Strataserum Advance or Alphaplex. It is extremely lightweight and popular with male clients

Use In The Treatment Room
Hydrafluide is an excellent water binder, and therefore, works well when used lightly during steam. After initial cleansing and toning, apply a light layer of Hydrafluide to the entire face with a mask brush. Allow to steam for 8-10 minutes for an excellent hydration treatment. This is also a superb pre-treatment for skin with tight clogged pores.

Use Hydrafluide as your standard treatment massage fluid and hydrator under a mask. Can be used with high frequency or positive galvanic current. Simply massage into skin and apply current therapy.

Hydrafluide can also be used as an intensive hydrating mask. For extra dehydrated or flaky skin, apply a thick layer and allow to sit for 10-15 minutes.

Soothing Hydration Massage Fluid

SOOTHING HYDRATION MASSAGE FLUID is our lipid-based hydration fluid for use in the treatment room. SOOTHING HYDRATION MASSAGE FLUID can be used on any dry or dehydrated skin, but is especially helpful for Sensitive Dehydrated Skin! It is both a massage fluid and powerful hydration treatment, containing soothing agents, hydrators, and lipid-enhancing ingredients to help support the fragile barrier function of the sensitive and dehydrated skin.
Unlike most massage products, Soothing Hydration Massage Fluid penetrates into the skin when massaged, offering your client a pleasant massage and deep moisturization in one step!

Use in the Treatment Room
One of our most popular treatment products, this incredibly silky, professional only soothing hydration fluid is ideal for a hydrating massage for any dehydrated or aging skin, but especially for sensitive dehydrated skin.
Soothing Hydration Massage Fluid should be applied liberally during the last half of the facial treatment, after all cleansing and/or exfoliation procedures. Massage in effleurage movements until absorbed. Use of cold globes over a sheet of gauze helps with deeper penetration, and also will reduce any inflammation caused during the cleansing portion of the treatment. High Frequency may be applied directly over Soothing Hydration Massage Fluid. After the massage, applied a liberal coat of Sensitive Science Soothing Gel Mask to further reduce redness and increase hydration. For wrinkled or sun-damage skin, use Moisture Support System Intensive Moisture Mask. After 10 minutes, remove with cool wet cotton compresses.

Masque Clarifiante Deep Cleansing Mask

This clay-based, granular mask is designed for oily areas with clogged pores. It can be used all over the face for very oily skin types, or in the center panel for combination skin. After drying, it can be re-wet and used as a scrub/exfoliator. Masque Clarifiante should not be used on the eye area!

Use In The Treatment Room
Masque Clarifiante should be applied to the central facial areas (or oily areas) after liberal application of Hydrafluide. Allow to dry 10-15 minutes. Spray the face with Tonique Clarifiante, and remove the mask with damp cotton compresses or towels, facial sponges, or shammies.

For oilier, more heavily clogged skin, Masque Clarifiante may be used as a scrub after or during steaming to remove excess dead cell buildup. While the face is damp with the steam, apply the masque with damp gloved fingertips, and gently massage the face in circular movements for 1-2 minutes only. Remove with damp sponges.

For a gentler treatment, combine 1 part Masque Clarifiante with 1 part Hydrafluide, or for more sensitive skin, 1 part Soothing Gel Mask. Mix well and apply to sensitive, clogged or oily skin. This will provide a thorough treatment without irritation.

Super Cleanse Mask
CONCEPT: CLEAN

For Very oily/Problematic; thick skin with enlarged pores, this powerful mask treatment has extraordinary clarifying and cleansing properties. A special blend of clays and sulfur, the mask removes dead cell buildup, loosening clogged pores and follicular impurities, tightening the appearance of pores and dramatically improving texture of oily and problem skin.

PRECAUTIONS: DO NOT USE IN EYE AREAS! Super-cleanse mask is a very effective, potent treatment and does tend to cause a strong tingling sensation. This normally lasts for about 3-5 minutes after application. Make sure to tell clients about the possibility of strong tingling. DO NOT USE THIS TREATMENT ON CLIENTS USING RETIN-A , DIFFERIN , or ACCUTANE , or any other exfoliating drug. Do not use on inflamed skin. Discontinue use if redness or inflammation persists of increases. Do not leave on for more than 15 minutes.

Use in the Treatment Room
Super-Cleanse Mask can be used on the entire center panel of the face for problem skin, or only on one area, such as the T-Zone or chin. After extraction and use of High Frequency with Serum Antigrasses, apply an even layer of Super-Cleanse Mask with a mask brush. Allow to dry completely, no longer than 15 minutes. To remove, apply tepid or slightly warm compresses or a warm damp towel compress. This will significantly loosen the mask, and help to ease removal. After removal, apply Tonique Clarifiante or Exfolitone on predampened cotton.

Use in the Treatment Room
Apply after preliminary cleansing for 8 minutes, during steam. Galvanic current (negative) can be used over Desin-Gel for deeper treatment. Remove excess product and begin extraction.

Serum Anti-Grasses is a special after-extraction treatment serum for enlarged pores. This unique professional-only treatment product contains a complex of natural extracts to soothe freshly treated oily areas, helping to reduce the appearance of enlarged pores, and aid in cleansing remnants of debris left from extraction. We have used this combination of extracts in our salon for over 15 years as an after-extraction treatment. We have found that this blend substantially reduces redness, puffiness, and helps to reduce clogged pores and oiliness. We have also observed that we have considerably less post-treatment “surfacing” when this product is used.

Use in the Treatment Room
Directions: Apply a few drops after extraction to enlarged pores and oily areas. High frequency may be applied directly over the serum. Apply Concept:Clean Mask or Mark Lees Masque Clarifiante after application. We strongly suggest the use of DESIN-GEL Pre-Masque prior to extraction.

To finish a facial treatment or AHA exfoliation, apply a moderate amount of Daily Sunscreen Complex to entire face and neck.

Night Replenishing Complex

For Dehydrated/Sun Damaged/Mature, Night Replenishing Complex is a special formulation for night care for dehydrated, sun damaged, and mature skin. Night Replenishing Complex combines powerful hydrator hyaluronic acid with essential lipids, and antioxidant vitamins E and C to help restore the skin’s moisture barrier and improve the moisture content of the epidermis, helping to smooth the appearance of lines and wrinkles, and improve texture and firmness.

Use in the Treatment Room
Moisture Support System Replenishing Complex can be applied lightly during steam treatment to help improve hydration, and can be used as an extremely effective hydrating massage cream. Apply a generous amount to the face, and proceed with massage. Apply additional product when absorbed.

A professional-only, 30% pH 3.0 AHA exfoliation treatment to help smooth and improve the appearance of sun-damaged skin. Alphaplex-30, performed in a series of salon treatments, helps improve texture, uneven coloration, reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and makes pores appear smaller. It is designed to be used with a complete Mark Lees home care program.

Use in the Treatment Room
This specialized treatment is administered in a series of 6 twice-weekly treatments, and can be performed 1-2 times a month for follow-up. Salons using this product must carry the Mark Lees retail system, as home care is required with this treatment. Strataserum Advance

Strataserum Advance is a potent broad-spectrum antioxidant, stabilized in micro-particle liposomes, helping to firm, hydrate, and soothe skin that is sun-damaged, stressed, fatigued, or aging. It is a powerful soother, and redness reducer

Use in the Treatment Room
For skin showing tiredness, dullness, signs of aging, or minor redness, apply Strataserum to entire face and neck. Apply with slow, gentle strokes. Positive ionization may be used over the serum. Continue with massage and hydration treatment with Hydrafluide or Moisture Support Replenishing Treatment.
(Most salons charge extra for this treatment upgrade.)

Use in the Treatment Room
For skin showing tiredness, dryness and dehydration, dullness, signs of aging including wrinkled and hypotonic areas, begin with a slow effleurage massage with Moisture Support System Replenishing Complex. After this penetrates, apply a generous layer of Intensive Moisture Mask to all areas including the skin around the eyes, on the neck, and on the décolleté’. For combination skin, Intensive Moisture Mask can be used on dry areas around the mouth, neck, eyes, and décolleté’. Allow to sit for 10-15 minutes. Remove with tepid damp cotton compresses, and apply Moisture Support System Daily Sunscreen Complex, and, on very dry skin, a few drops of Intensive Lipid Serum.
